Key agricultural industries work with Staphyt Australasia to identify and resolve commercial production issues.
Examples of this joint approach to research have included collaboration with industries throughout Australia and New Zealand. Commercial outcomes have been achieved for growers in a wide range of crops including apples, broccoli, beans, carrots, corn, peas, potatoes, lettuce, poppies, pyrethrum and tomatoes. Outcomes have included new disease and weed management strategies, new product registrations, improved nutrition programs, alternative seed treatments and improved post-harvest handling.
